We thought we would try to color eggs this year... turned out pretty good!

Grayden kept dropping them in the colors... he didn't quite understand the meaning of "careful".

We dropped one on the floor and so Grayden ate it!

 YUMMY!

Grayden helped make some gifts for Teacher Appreciation Week.
Ms. Mandy and Ms. Deserah are wonderful teachers and we LOVE them so much!

One side of the flower says "thanks for helping me GROW", and the other side says "the grass is always greener with teachers like you"
That is homegrown grass in hand painted pots.  Grayden helped with both the planting and painting.

Grayden's mouth is full of jelly beans.  It was the day of the Easter party... that basket he is holding is FULL of treats!

After the new tires we went to the mall to see the Easter Bunny and play.
However, we were scared to death of the Easter Bunny... so no pictures of that.  Maybe next year.
We did get to play though.  The Tuttle Mall has a great space themed play zone!

I made Grayden a new shirt... what do you think?!?
I cut up some of his old plaid shirts and made my own argile pattern!

These are just some shots of Grayden waiting patiently while we got new tires put on the truck.

Playing at the Park

After finding the snakes we decided to go into town for ice cream... and then daddy surprised all of us with a trip to the park too!

As you can see (Grayden and Don's old clothes), none of us were really dressed for the park... but it was the first nice day in a long while... so it was nice to get out and have some fun!

SNAKE!

A couple of weeks ago, on the first real warm day we had, we went outside to do some yard work and play.  And this is what we found!
  A tiny little snake...

Grayden really wanted to play with it...

But we let him go back in the grass where he belongs.

A couple of hours later... we found his momma!

YIKES!
