Grayden's First Birthday!!!

Grayden turned 1 YEAR OLD on Sunday February 21, 2010. It is so hard to believe it has been a whole year since he was born. It certainly has gone by fast!
The party turned out great and it was so wonderful to see everyone!
Grayden got some cool new toys and a lot of great outfits.
He was a little hesitant at first to dig into his cake, but once he tasted it he didn't want to stop!

Grayden's Girlfriend

Grayden seems to have a little girlfriend at the daycare. Her name is Adriana.
I think we need to work with Grayden on being a little more gentle!

Grayden was so tired after the Dentist that he fell asleep in the truck! Look how cute he is!

Grayden's First Visit to the Dentist!

Today was Grayden's first visit to the dentist. It went very well. Dr. Wenger said that Grayden is ahead of most boys his age. He got a new toothbrush and a toy whale for being such a good boy.

Grayden's First Snow!!

Over the past couple of days we have gotten about 10 inches of snow. We couldn't wait to get Grayden out in it just to see what he thinks of it. I think that the 4 layers of clothes under the huge snow suit kept him from moving as much as he wanted to, but you could still tell that he liked it. At least there were no tears.

Kidzapalooza 2010

On Saturday we went to the Kidzapalooza in Columbus. They had advertised that they would have a "Baby Land" there and we hoped that Grayden would actually have something to do. We (mostly just Megan) have been very antsy to get Grayden out and do activities with him. So we thought that Kidzapalooza would be a great way to get him out of the house and try something different.

Not so much...

The "Baby Land" that they advertised was a small inflatable play house with tons of kids that ranged from age 3-10 jumping around in it. No way would Grayden be able to do something like that.

So Kidzapalooza this year was more of a visual stimulation for Grayden. He loves to people watch and there were a TON of people there! Not a total wash for a Saturday afternoon.

Grayden is afraid of it becuase he thinks I am trying to wipe his face. He likes it once he realizes he is supposed to eat it. It was one big blue gooey mess!
